Cohesion are delighted that Lindsey Hanson from Skills for Care will be joining us on the 22nd May as a guest speaker. Lindsey will be sharing the latest methods to articulate organisational values to young people both before and beyond the recruitment process. Attendees will leave understanding best practice around embedding your values into your organisational DNA.
Lindsey Hanson: Skills for Care
Lindsey has a long and varied background in project management across a range of sectors, with a keen interest in health and well-being. As a solution-oriented person, Lindsey thrives in applying her skills to recruitment and retention issues in adult social care. She has worked for Skills for Care since December 2012, immersing herself exclusively in recruitment and retention projects. Since July 2018, Lindsey has lead on the values and behaviours work; an area of specific interest and passion.

Amanda co-owns Cohesion and describes acquiring the business in 2009 as her proudest achievement.

Dave Beesley – Talent Director.
As Talent Director, Dave is key to the Cohesion delivery team. Dave knows social care and makes sure every implementation we do is driven by an efficient process design and best practice recruitment expertise.
Dave is a specialist in his field, regularly speaking at Cohesion Social Care Forums and other sector-led events to share his expertise in social care recruitment. From the latest trends to encouraging more men and young people to consider a career in care, Cohesion bring the latest thinking to the table.

Neil Hammond: National Career Service
Neil has worked in careers for nearly 28 years having worked with schools, colleges, training providers, the National probation service, employers and universities. He has been working for the National Careers service since 2014, initially on the government programme called the Inspiration agenda and is now working on a programme called 50+ futures. This is about supporting the retention of older workers at a time when smaller numbers of younger people are entering the job market.
Neil is passionate about positive careers guidance helping to change lives by facilitating positive choices through learning about career options that inspire. He is also interested in Hidden Careers, those Career opportunities that are by-passed by lack of awareness of the Labour market.
