The Solution

Due to higher volumes of recruitment activity, a leading care provider sought additional resource and expertise to support with pre-employment compliance checks. As dedicated social care specialists committed to enhancing end-to-end recruitment processes, Cohesion provided a flexible solution to support the existing in-house provision.

Throughout the project, results included excellent compliance conversion rates, shortened cycle times, and a decrease in candidate withdrawals. These results were attributed to positive candidate engagement and high touch interaction throughout.

Precious engaged Cohesion to complete pre-employment compliance checks for newly hired candidates. The process, which included collecting references, ID documents, DBS checks, and a full employment history, ensured candidates complied with CQC Regulation 19 before commencing employment in service. Candidates were kept updated daily ensuring a positive experience at every stage.

In a secondary project, Cohesion assisted with auditing the compliance documentation of existing employee files. The objective was to verify compliance with Regulation 19 was in place, ensuring a streamlined pre-employment process. This included thorough reviews of employment files to confirm completion of all necessary checks.
